Our Gradebooks autosave as teachers enter grades. If a teacher is not connected to the Internet, however, we cannot save the data.
This week we implemented a faster warning so that teachers know when the Internet connection has been lost. We now show a No Internet Connection warning popup:
The warning will remain until the Internet connection is restored and Try Connecting Again is clicked.
It always pains us when users lose data for any reason, so we hope this updates brings additional peace of mind.
Tip: Not sure if your gradebook has saved? Check for the Processing symbol at the top of your screen as you click onto a new part of your screen. For total peace of mind, you can also download an Excel backup of your gradebook.
