We are delighted to announce the launch of our IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) support!
The IBCP is the newest addition to the International Baccalaureate continuum. Designed for students aged 16-19 who wish to engage in career-related education, the programme is growing substantially worldwide.
Over the past year, we have been working with experienced IBCP educators to develop a framework to support our schools delivering the IBCP, either independently or alongside the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP).
ManageBac provides IBCP students and teachers with their own tailor-made platform for the IBCP Core while seamlessly integrating students within IBDP and Career-related Study classes.
Launching September 2018
The IBCP Year Group allows Coordinators to centralise the delivery of the Core and instantly monitor student progress towards learning outcomes.
A dynamic Service Learning portfolio promotes dialogue between advisors and students and allows students to demonstrate and reflect on their progress.
The Service Learning Quick Start Guide, developed for us by an experienced IBCP consultant, provides students with an inspirational and informative introduction to service learning.
All authorised IBCP and IBDP subjects are fully supported, including mixed IBCP/DP classes, in which teachers can create tasks and events, collect and grade work, communicate with students and take attendance.
Teachers can collaboratively develop unit plans, including resources, tasks and assignments, for Personal and Professional Skills and Language Development using IB aims, objectives and syllabus content.
A growing number of Career-related Studies are available, including Pearson BTECs.
Communication is enhanced through individual, Class and Year Group messaging. Visibility is promoted through individualised and Year Group calendars which are updated in real time.
