ManageBac User Group Conference Mumbai: Recap

On November 3-4, we hosted our sixth ManageBac User Group Conference in Asia-Pacific at Oberoi International School – OGC Campus (OIS). It ran jointly alongside our first OpenApply Admissions Conference in India. We had the pleasure of welcoming 97 participants from 44 schools and our official partners below.

The first day opened with RVenus Lai (Regional Director, Asia-Pacific) and MacKenzie Hovermale (OpenApply Director) providing a company update  on the latest features and community offerings for ManageBac and OpenApply. Next Puja Srivastava, IT Director at OIS walked us through the journey of implementing ManageBac and OpenApply, and featured an entertaining video with testimonials from students and teachers at the school.

Participants then went straight into track-specific breakout sessions (i.e. IB Programme, Technology, Achieving Buy-in, General, and Support Desk).

Attendees from both the ManageBac UGC and OpenApply Admissions Conference then came together for a cocktail hour and dinner at the beautiful Westin Mumbai Garden City.

After lunch and a school tour, participants continued on with the final two sessions.

SESSIONS 8 provided a last round of Q&A for each IB Programme and another AssessPrep Workshop for those who missed out earlier in the day.

We had an amazing time connecting with new and longtime ManageBac schools. A huge thank you to OIS for hosting us!
