On November 11, we held a ManageBac Reporting Workshop at Hong Kong Academy (HKA) where we welcomed 34 participants from International Schools across Hong Kong and Southern China. It was open to ManageBac users as well as those interested in adopting the system at their school who wanted to learn more about creating stunning report cards.

The morning started with a company update from ManageBac Associate Jennifer Huang, followed by an implementation story from Andy Birch (Director of Technology) and Jennifer Swinehart (Director of Research and Development) on how HKA manage the reporting process; from developing a timeline to delegating responsibilities.

Thereafter, participants moved into DP & MYP, and PYP-specific sessions facilitated by the ManageBac team (Jennifer Huang and Kieran Tully). Topics covered included programme setup, using the gradebook (individual and term assessment), customising reporting templates, and generating reports. The day heard a variety of questions and feature requests (both reporting-related and general), and offered a great opportunity to network with neighboring schools to share and learn their best reporting practices.

Wouter Kolkman from Shen Wai International School said, “Great to exchange experiences and meet ManageBac staff”.

Thank you to HKA for hosting a enjoyable day, especially to Jennifer and Andy who made it all possible!
