LearningManageBac Certified Educator Programme: Now Offering 6 Courses

As the middle level to our full ManageBac Certification, the Certified Educator programme aims to foster a culture of continuous learning within the ManageBac community. It is designed to equip administrators and teachers involved in the delivery of the different International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes with the essential skills and knowledge to proficiently utilise the ManageBac platform.
The programme provides educators with the means to master the use of the ManageBac platform and to be recognised for their expertise. Each asynchronous, online exam can be undertaken whenever, wherever – with helpful resources provided to support meaningful, self-paced revision, and assessments tailored to specific roles and academic programmes.
The Certified Educator programme serves as the cornerstone for professional growth and the advancement of teaching and learning.
Taking a Certified Educator exam will enable users to:
- Review key knowledge and practical skills to successfully implement the different IB curricula using ManageBac.
- Receive a certificate and badge validating expertise.
- Join our learning community.
Overview
The DP / CP Certified Educator exams are designed for ManageBac teachers and administrators to demonstrate their skills and formally test and evidence their proficiency in using the platform for the IB Diploma and Career-Related Programmes.

About the Course Developer
Ryan Bulosan
Head of Community
Ryan is passionate about international education, design thinking and innovation. Currently he is the Head of Community at Faria Education Group, a global leader in international education systems and services. In his role, he is responsible for the professional learning and community initiatives across the different systems at Faria.
Prior to joining Faria, he was an IB Diploma Program Coordinator in the Philippines. During his time as IB DP Coordinator, he spearheaded various initiatives and events for the IB community at Xavier School and the IB Network in the Philippines. He was also a part-time lecturer at the Ateneo de Manila, Philippines, teaching college-level courses such as Creativity and Problem Awareness, Visual Thinking and Digital Society.
Developing these certification courses allowed me to share my experience as a former DP Coordinator and ManageBac Administrator. These certifications provide DP teachers and administrators the opportunity to sharpen and demonstrate their pedagogical and technical skills that they can bring with them wherever they go.

Marie MacPhee
Implementation Specialist
Marie is an Implementation Specialist at ManageBac. Before joining the team, she served as MYP Coordinator and IB Teacher at International Schools in the UK and Asia. Marie is originally from Canada and lives in the UK. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology (BSc) from Mount Allison University, Bachelor of Education (BEd) and Masters of Arts in Education (MA) from the University of Bath.
