ManageBac was excited to host our first official virtual ManageBac Training Academy workshop, on November 11-12, 2021. The event was sold-out weeks in advance, and saw over 100 attendees from more than 35 countries and 50 schools participate in hands-on workshops delivered by the ManageBac Support, Curriculum & Technology teams.

With 345+ years of combined ManageBac experience in the audience, the workshop saw a wealth of knowledge shared on IB Assessment approaches, ways to share feedback to students, guide teachers along the process and engage your Parent body, as well as Support Team best-practices to refine report card layouts.

Ryan Tannenbaum, Technology Consultant at Faria Education Group and for.education, and Adam Morris, Schools Technology & Integration Director at ManageBac, provided a sneak preview at upcoming Gradebook developments in their Engaging the Community: Proofing and Review + Enhanced Analytics session.

A Focus group was launched on the back of the session, where schools were invited to participate in providing feedback that will assist our product development process for automating proofing & review, and providing additional analytics for coordinators to more easily track grades and reporting to-do’s.

Hands-on sessions were delivered via the experienced ManageBac Support Team, offering best-practice advice, tips and tricks to produce stunning report cards, and answers to FAQs. The intimate breakouts also saw schools share their own techniques and approaches with each-other, an invaluable learning and teaching session.
