For over 15 years, ManageBac has been the trusted platform for schools delivering the International Baccalaureate (IB). As education has evolved, so too has our platform—expanding beyond the IB to support a broader range of curricula, school needs and school types.

Now, we’re taking the next step in our evolutionary journey with ManageBac+.

Why the Name Change?

ManageBac was originally built for IB schools, and our commitment to IB remains as strong as ever. But over the years, our platform has grown in capability. The new name acknowledges this expanded functionality while keeping the trusted ManageBac identity intact. The ‘+’ in our name represents more—more features, more connectivity, and more ways to empower educators, students, and parents.

So, while our name is evolving, our mission stays the same: delivering a smarter, more connected learning experience.

You’ll start to see the new name and logo over the coming months as we update our website and key touchpoints.

What Does This Mean for IB Schools?

If you’re an IB school, your experience remains unchanged—only enhanced. We are still the only platform fully integrated with:

  • IB eCoursework & IBIS exam registration
  • Official IB forms, curriculum, and assessment information
  • IB-specific study and revision support

What Does This Mean for Existing Customers?

For our current schools, ManageBac+ delivers more value and an improved user experience at no extra cost. ManageBac+ is a reflection of our commitment to ongoing innovation, refinement, and supporting schools in their educational journey. For existing customers there is nothing they need to do. For example the login site remains the same as do user login details.

What’s New in ManageBac+?

A More Intuitive, Seamless Experience
ManageBac+ will offer a more streamlined interface, thoughtfully designed to enhance usability for educators, students, and parents. With smarter navigation, users can move through the platform more efficiently, reducing frustration and saving valuable time.

Seamless Connectivity
We will be working on more integrations with key third-party platforms, including Google Classroom and Microsoft OneDrive, allowing for more connected and efficient workflows. Additionally, we’ll be improving data sharing across our suite of platforms to ensure better efficiencies and a more seamless experience for schools.

A More Engaging Learning Experience
ManageBac+ introduces new student Portfolios which provide a comprehensive and visually rich way to showcase student progress throughout their whole academic journey. We will also be launching Class Streams, a dynamic space where educators can organize classroom resources, activities, and communication in a structured and engaging way.

Additional Innovations
ManageBac+ will offer a mobile-first experience, ensuring that students and parents can stay connected to learning anytime, anywhere. Whether accessing assignments, tracking progress, or communicating with teachers, the platform will be fully optimized for seamless use on mobile devices. To further support educators, our AI Writing Assistant helps teachers refine tasks, unit plans, and reports with ease, saving time and improving the clarity of key communications, at no extra cost.

New Analytics Product: Faria SpotLight
This summer we will be launching our newest product Faria SpotLight. Faria Spotlight is a powerful new analytics tool that provides data-driven insights across platforms, helping educators make informed decisions to enhance student outcomes.
