Continuing our commitment to schools and customers in China, we have just completed migrating servers from Canada to the AWS Beijing data centre. This move leads to improved site-wide reliability for the region, as well as faster speeds across the board as all of our customers in China can now access their accounts using the .cn top level domain – eliminating the need for VPNs.
If your school is operating in China, you received an email last week with details about the migration as well as what to expect going forward. In case you missed it, here are the changes that you will be able to see starting this week:
- You will be able to access ManageBac at yourschool.managebac.cn
- All API calls will be sent to api.managebac.cn
- LaunchPad Accounts and Subject Centre will be accessible at accounts.managebac.cn and subjectcentre.managebac.cn respectively
If you have any questions about the changes that happened over the weekend, please email our support team at support@managebac.com and we would be happy to help.
We look forward to continually improving our service and localization options for Chinese schools!
