IB Candidate Registrations for 2026

As the procedure to register IB students on IBIS for the 2026 session has been further streamlined, ManageBac is here to help deliver the changes in a seamless way. Registrations with IBIS for 2026 session now require a verified candidate’s email address, and we have been hard at work to make it quick and easy.

Email requirement

ManageBac’s IBIS Candidate’s Personal Information now provides a new email field for each candidate, which can be populated with the respective email that candidates will use to check IB results.

The email must be verified by the candidate by following the link in a verification email that is sent after saving. This field cannot be modified after IBIS registration for that candidate has been made.

Planned improvements

Since this new candidate email flow only applies to the 2026 session, further user-friendly features are planned to be launched after the May 2025 session has closed, including bulk updating candidate emails.
