Global Support Update 2021: Support Services for your School

The ManageBac Support team is always on hand to assist your school, whether it’s configuring your account for the new academic year, training on the latest features, or providing best-practice guidance for the day-to-day.

Back to School Webinar Series (All Users)

The 2021/2022 academic year webinar series is well under way, with more than 30 hours of curated content from the ManageBac Curriculum & Support teams watchable on demand, and much more content to come!

Highlights include a look at the All New Design of ManageBac and the latest updates for each academic programme including TOK Essay & Exhibition for the DP, Interdisciplinary Planning & Assessment for the MYP, and collaborative planning for the PYP.

To support administrators that are beginning a new year on ManageBac, we highly recommend watching our New Year School Management stream, including how to Move Students up a Grade Level, Keeping your Account Tidy, Effectively Onboard new users and Preparing your School for a new year on ManageBac.

Special support is also provided for Parents and Students on how to navigate and use ManageBac, be it from your mobile device, tablet or laptop.

Topics to consider at this time of year include IBIS exam registration & eCoursework submissions and DP Planning & Evidence Collection with Tom Brodie, and a look at how ManageBac & Pamoja are better together. New In-app User Setup Checklists (All Users) and Year Group & Class QuickStart Guides (Admins & Teachers)

Admins, teachers, students and parents can find their own personal setup checklist directly on their dashboard. This checklist ensures that their profile has up-to-date information, including name, email, profile photo, and notification settings.

New QuickStart Checklists have been added to Year Groups and Classes, to ensure all necessary information has been configured. QuickAdd options will also assist new users with creating their first unit, adding a new task or uploading files, all in a few clicks.

ManageBac Help Centre (All Users)

The ManageBac Help Centre has been given an upgrade, with new content, organisation, consolidation across products (for those schools using additional Faria services such as OpenApply, SchoolsBuddy, Pamoja & OSC), and a new look!

Featuring text tutorials with annotated screens, short How-To videos, webinars on demand, exemplar resources, and now integrated blogs, it’s your one-stop resource centre.

Support Team & Services

Our friendly Support team handle more than 35k support emails, 7k phone calls and 2k trainings each year, and are always there to support your needs. You can review a complete list of services offered for ManageBac schools here, view profiles of our global team to learn more about who is on the other end of the phone line, or book in an online training for your faculty members new to ManageBac.

Look out for the Faria Implementation Manager releasing in Q4, 2021, aimed at supporting your administration & tech director team to get your account setup in a best practice manner, arrange to meet with your account manager, check-off annual To-do’s, access resources, and arrange training for your faculty.
